CQYB/II-150N SOLAS Inflatable Life Jacket
The CQYB/II-150N is a twin-chamber inflatable life jacket manufactured
to SOLAS and EU MED requirements, type-approved by RINA and CCS. Designed
for crew and passengers on merchant vessels and offshore installations, it
provides a minimum of 150N buoyancy and is engineered to turn most wearers
— including an unconscious wearer — face-up, with a face plane angle of
40° or greater.
Dual 33g CO₂ cylinders inflate the jacket automatically on immersion or
manually by the wearer, with full inflation in under five seconds. The
double air chamber provides redundancy: each chamber independently holds
the wearer. At under 1.5 kg, the jacket is light enough for continuous
wear on deck.
